For some reason it's like a magnet for me creating cute little primitive angels some of the backgrounds as you can see I used archival prints of antique gospel music sheets.
I used a liquitex acrylic medium gel to collage the sheets on to the canvas I then applied the same medium over the top and it created texture on the surface.

WOW, these are sooo beautiful! I really love them, I do sort of similar works. I've really been getting into doing primatives with collage work. Beautiful paintings!~
